She is a detective following up on a recent series of malfunctioning robots, and ultimately the story follows her encounter with a "Proxy", an alien-being.

Although the anime may seem slow at parts, the storyline keeps the viewers interested in seeing how the story will unfold. And it is visually pleasing, though, has the slight gothic taste to the whole approach.

This is a beautifully crafted, well-drawn epic tale of courage and love, strength and honor. Our main characters ride a small two-man plane called Vanship, as they travel the skies to perform tasks and ultimately to follow the dreams of their father, to go where no man has gone before!

Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex - Solid State Society

I have always enjoied the Ghost in the Shell series, starting from the original movie, to the second movie, and the entire TV series, both season one and two, and they also had this standalone short film subtitled Solid State Society.

Without going into too much detail of what this is about, as far as I can tell, it happens sometime after the first movie and the TV series, where Togusa is heading the Public Security Section 9.

It starts off with an eye catching chase after a criminal who kills himself only after mentioning the mysterious phrase "The puppeteer...".

For any Ghost in the Shell fans, this is a must. For others, I say you still try it out.
